We want billing and cancellation to be clear. You can turn off automatic renewal so that future recurring charges stop, and direct refund requests are reviewed individually rather than being automatically denied.
1. Scope
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to purchases made directly through NursePrepWise.com. It forms part of the NursePrepWise Terms of Use.
2. Cancelling Automatic Renewal
NursePrepWise subscriptions may renew automatically at the billing interval displayed at checkout. You may turn off automatic renewal before your next billing date through the cancellation functionality provided in your account or by contacting support@nurseprepwise.com.
Turning off automatic renewal stops future renewal charges. Cancelling does not by itself create a refund. Unless a refund is separately approved, cancellation does not end access that has already been paid for. You may continue using the applicable subscription through the end of the current paid period.
3. Refund Requests
All refund requests for purchases made directly through NursePrepWise are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Approval of one request does not create an entitlement or precedent for another request. If a refund is approved, the amount will be determined based on the circumstances of the request and will be final, subject to rights and remedies that cannot be limited under applicable law.
We may consider factors such as:
- the amount of time that has passed since the purchase or renewal;
- the amount of QBank, practice-test, cheat-sheet, or other subscription content already accessed or used;
- whether the request concerns a duplicate or incorrect charge;
- whether payment was successfully collected but paid access was not provided and we were unable to remedy the issue;
- whether the charge resulted from an unintended renewal and how promptly the request was submitted;
- evidence of unauthorized or fraudulent use of the payment method; and
- any other circumstances we reasonably consider relevant.
4. Situations Where a Refund May Be Reduced or Declined
A refund may be reduced or declined where substantial use of the purchased digital content has already occurred, where the subscription period has substantially elapsed, where the request is inconsistent with the facts of the transaction, or where the account has been used in material violation of the Terms of Use. This does not affect any refund right that applicable law requires us to honor.
5. Renewal Charges
A renewal charge is not automatically refundable merely because automatic renewal was not turned off before the renewal date. However, you may still submit a refund request, and we will review it case-by-case. Prompt requests made after an unintended renewal may be considered together with account usage after the renewal.
6. Duplicate, Incorrect, or Failed-Access Charges
If you believe you were charged more than once for the same purchase, charged an incorrect amount, or successfully charged without receiving the purchased access, contact us promptly. We will investigate and, where appropriate, correct the charge, restore access, or issue a refund.
7. Unauthorized Transactions
If you believe a payment was made without your authorization, contact us promptly and also contact your card issuer or financial institution where appropriate. We may request reasonable information necessary to investigate the transaction and protect the account.
8. Refund Method and Timing
Approved refunds will ordinarily be returned through the original payment method or payment processor used for the transaction. Processing times after approval depend on the payment processor, card network, and financial institution and may be outside NursePrepWise’s control.
9. Tutoring and Other Separately Priced Services
If NursePrepWise offers separately priced tutoring or other services, any service-specific cancellation or rescheduling terms presented before booking will apply in addition to this Policy. Where no separate terms are presented, refund requests will be reviewed case-by-case under this Policy.
10. Marketplace or Third-Party Purchases
If NursePrepWise later offers purchases through an app store, marketplace, institutional reseller, or other third-party seller, refund requests for those transactions may need to be submitted directly to that seller under its applicable refund rules. This section applies only when such a third-party purchase channel is actually used.
11. Mandatory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts, or overrides consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived. Where applicable law gives you greater refund, cancellation, or cooling-off rights, those rights will apply.
12. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email support@nurseprepwise.com from the email address associated with your NursePrepWise account. Include enough information for us to identify the transaction, such as the account email, approximate purchase date, plan purchased, and the reason for the request. Do not send full payment-card numbers or security codes by email.
13. Policy Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version and its effective date will be posted on NursePrepWise.com. Changes will not reduce rights that have already accrued under applicable law.
